Hwy 95 south of Hanksville, UT is a stretch of highway that travels through Butler Canyon. It was snowing, icy, and the ambient light had lit the canyons for a spectacular backdrop. I saw two boulders that framed a tree covered with snow and ice. I pulled over and shot from my window and drove off. Another image that surprised me when I uploaded into my computer. Made me wish I had gotten out and spent some time there with camera and tripod. Ole man winter was doing his thing but the tree stood strong, refusing to relent! I was so happy I witnessed this moment.
